Grand Rapids this Weekend!

So…do you remember that conference I told you about, Thinking Christianity in the Present Tense: The Politics of Discipleship? Well my paper got accepted! That means that this coming Saturday, at 10:30am, I’ll be presenting my paper titled “Positioned Reconstructive Deconstruction: Following Christ as Music-Makers & Dreamers of Dreams.”  It should be a good time (I promise the presentation will be must less pretentious than the title).

If you’re going to be in the Grand Rapids area this coming Saturday, April 21st, and the subject sounds at all interesting to you, please stop by! The conference is free at Cornerstone University, 1001 East Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI. (Though they would appreciate it if you would register).

If you’d like to check out some of the other people who will be speaking or see the schedule, go here.

  1. Hey, Lindsey. I’m really looking forward to meeting you! Thanks for submitting your paper. I may not be able to hear it, but I enjoyed reading what you submitted.
